Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Government via the Ministry of Industrial Development (MID) and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Sabah on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to produce more small-and-medium industries (SMI) entrepreneurs in the State.

MID Permanent Secretary Thomas Logijin and UiTM Sabah Rector Assoc. Prof. Datuk Dr Abdul Kadir Rosline signed the MoU on behalf of MID and UiTM, respectively.
Deputy Chief Minister cum Industrial Development Minister Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam, who witnessed the event, said as an initial step in the collaboration, the Ministry contributed a RM40,000 grant for the implementation of “The Novice” programme by UiTM.
