Deputy Information Minister said the UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths to Yemen is playing the role of a lawyer for the Houthi theocratic militants who have plunged Yemen in a devastating six year war.
In a tweet, Abdulbasit AlKaedi said Griffiths is “doing his utmost to reverse the American decision – to design Houthis as a foreign terrorist organization - under humanitarian pretexts.”
“Versus the wide welcome of the US decision by the Yemenipeople, there are [non-Yemeni] actors doing their utmost to reverse it. On top of those actors are the UN envoy,” he said.
