The investment means that it can continue to meet the requirements of the tax stamp market, while also being able to enhance its offering by being able to place high-security hologram features on a printed web. It is designed to work seamlessly with Primera’s AP360 and AP362 label applicators, including new and existing installed units. With no tools required, AP-Code installs quickly to Primera’s AP360 and AP362 label applicators. It doesn’t need a separate power supply and includes a full-color touchscreen to enter data and configure date and lot codes.

UPM Raflatac has launched its new collection of wine, spirits and beverage label materials – Rêverie 3 – that use recycled fibers.  

Recycling tech pioneer, Polytag, and sustainable waste management company Biffa, have collaborated with UK retailers Ocado Retail, Co-op, and Aldi to provide them with packaging lifecycle data. The businesses have joined forces as part of plastics, resource, efficiency and recycling charity Recoup’s 26-week long ‘Bottle to Bottle’ project, in conjunction with label printer Interket UK, the UK’s largest dairy co-operative Arla Foods and Müller Milk & Ingredients.
