Print and apply labeling specialist Industrial Labelling Systems (ILS) has launched its new logo and appointed Ryan Brett as business development/project manager.   As the business pushes ahead with the next stage of its growth strategy, the brand will better reflect ILS’s lead in print and apply labelling and will be shortly followed by its new website.  

Avery Dennison’s specialized label testing institute, AD Procerta, will expand its services to the automotive, electronics, and premium drinks industries.

Manufacturer of self-adhesive print media for label and thermal activated sticky receipt paper NAStar has promoted John Short to vice president in the company. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Short began his career with NAStar in field sales and evolved into marketing management.  

Pepsi has unveiled a new logo and visual identity system, the first update of the iconic Pepsi globe logo in 14 years. Pepsi will roll out the new look in North America this fall in time for the brand's 125th anniversary, and globally in 2024.

Accel-KKR, a global technology-focused investment firm, has invested in Loftware, a provider of cloud-based Enterprise labeling and artwork management technology. With this transaction, Accel-KKR will join current investor Riverside Partners as backers of Loftware. Terms were not disclosed.  

Ambienta, one of Europe's largest asset managers, and its platform company In.Pack Machinery, have acquired Karlville Swiss, a fast-growing manufacturer of machines for pre-made pouches.

UPM Raflatac’s RafCycle recycling service has won the silver Sustainable Packaging Design of the Year 2023 award at the Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) Awards. The announcement came on March 28 at the PIDA Awards Gala Dinner. The PIDA awards are designed to recognize companies and individuals who are making a significant difference in their field across Australia and New Zealand.
