The Centre has appointed IPS officers Vasava Amit Naginbhai and Suhail Sharma in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Both the officers have been appointed as SPs at the CBI with a tenure of five years, according to an order released by the government. On the other hand, CBI Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) Abhishek Shandilya and Sadanand Date have got extensions in he tenure.
