Are NIRS tools useful to assess digestible energy of pig feedstuffs?
A study, undertaken as part of the EU-funded Feed-a-Gene project, found that near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) tools enable more accurate digestible energy predictions in pig feed ingredients than those done using in vitro assays (EDOM).
