In view of the IRCTC scam case, a court in Delhi has summoned RJD patriarch Lalu Yadav and her wife Rabri Devi to record their statements regarding the alleged scam.

The case relates to alleged appointments made in the railways in return for land parcels gifted or sold to Prasads family when he was Railway Minister.

In a tweet, Tejashwi Yadav said that both Prasad and Rohini Acharya, his elder sister who donated a kidney to her father, are healthy post the transplant.

On Friday, the CBI filed a charge sheet against former railway minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi in connection with alleged appointments made in Railways in return for land parcels gifted or sold to his family.

Prasads daughter Misa Bharti and a former general manager of the Railways have also been named as accused in the charge sheet filed before a special CBI court recently

The CBI has named RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi and daughter Misa Bharti in its chargesheet in the alleged land for job scam.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday filed chargesheet against Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi and 14 others in land for jobs scam, officials said.

The RJD leader and his mother Rabri Devi were granted bail in the case in 2018.
