The IIT Bombay research park, which is a 14-floor building with five lakh square feet of built-up space, was constructed at a cost of Rs 225 crore, utilising Rs 100 crore from a Ministry of Education grant, Rs 67 crore from a HEFA loan, and Rs 58 crore from revenue generated internally by IIT Bombay.
