We were also made aware of by sf mta that the current contract is under noithsz with negotiations with the drivers. Both parties are had at work with the strike. Hasnt arrived on. State legislation. There were two bills we were monitoring and tracking. One is that was introduced by assembly man tom amiano to give San Francisco a choice in how it does its energy cca programs. Unfortunately that bill died in the local government committee. To the Mayors Disability Council this friday may 16, 2014, in room 400 of San Francisco city hall. City hall is accessible to persons using wheelchairs and other assistive mobility devices. Wheelchair access is provided at the van ness and mccall street. And entrance is provided via a wheelchair lift. About features for individuals who are blind or have a vision impairment. One feature that will continue from the old cars are the external inter car barriers that are meant to help protect people with vision impairments from inadvertently stepping off the flat form and being in danger.
