The Wildlife Center of Virginia will be releasing an adult bald eagle on Tuesday, July 26, at 1 p.m. in Accomack County, after six weeks of rehabilitation.

Last week, around the July Fourth holiday, a break in a fishing net caused thousands of dead menhaden to wash up onshore in Silver Beach, and even though the beach has since been cleaned up, Northampton County residents were still left with the stink of the incident, both literally and figuratively.
