After waiting 27 years to receive the keys to his new home at Dido Valley housing development in Simon’s Town, Johnny Klein peacefully passed away.

Construction is ready to start at the City of Cape Town’s new Rusthof Infill housing project, which will provide opportunities to more than 380 qualifying beneficiaries and is located on three pieces of land in the Gustrow area of Strand.

The rains over the Helderberg bring with them the familiar sight of sinkholes and overflowing sewers, as the crumbling state of the Trappies sewer pipeline continues to be an ongoing issue – particularly in Strand North.
