India-backed international organisation Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure or CDRI will be launching a trust fund and operationalising a program for small island states at COP27 (Conference of the parties) summit in Egypt. The program, Infrastructure for Resilient Island State program or IRIS will help island states in the Pacific, Caribbean and the Indian ocean to deal with the impact of climate change.
