In south philadelphia, a septa bus hits a mother and her child. We have learned the mother has died while the child is in the hospital. Good evening, im chris may. Im jessica dean. Investigator say the child was trying to help his mother when the police arrived. The accident happened at 15th and washington around 7 30. Investigator say the 29yearold mother her eightyearold son were crossing when her hit by the route 27 bus. We begin with a heartbreaking story out of oklahoma where a College Softball team trip ended in tragedy on a busy interstate. Four young women were killed after the bus they were on collided with an 18wheeler. All the victims were members of the Softball Team at North Central texas college. The youngest of those killed was 18, the oldest 20. And tonight back in texas their tightknit College Community is gripped by a profound sadness.
