No Texas Rangers transactions today. However, it is interesting to me that the Minnesota Twins announced today the signing of three players who spent time with the Texas Rangers in 2020. So I figured, why not do a post about it.
Rob Refsnyder, Derek Law and Luke Farrell were among eight players who were announced today as having signed minor league deals with the Minnesota Twins.
Refsnyder spent 2020 with the Texas Rangers, putting up a .200/.265/.233 slash line in 34 plate appearances over 15 games in the corner outfield spots, first base and DH. Refsnyder was designated for assignment on August 24 when the Rangers brought Leody Taveras (and Robinson Chirinos) up.
