US investment firm BNY Mellon Investment Management has tapped two senior executives from rivals Fidelity Investment Management and Aberdeen Standard Investments to fill newly created positions in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Dominic Wong has been named head of intermediary for Greater China, responsible for developing and driving intermediary strategy, including with Asia’s private banks and global financial institutions in the region, BNY Mellon says in a statement on March 13. He was previously head of intermediary for North Asia at Fidelity.
Meanwhile, Sabrina Yu, formerly associate director for institutional sales at Aberdeen Standard Investments in Taiwan, has been appointed as business development senior associate for Taiwan.
