PC Georges son, Shaun George, accuses a former Income Tax officer of now being on Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayans staff after clearing him in the SNC Lavalin case. Shaun, who recently joined the BJP, plans to file a complaint alleging favoritism. The Kerala High Court upheld Vijayans discharge in 2017, stating no prima facie case existed. The CBI had accused Vijayan of corruption in awarding a contract to SNC-Lavalin in 1996, which he denies.

The panel, headed by YSRCP leader V Vijayasai Reddy, was expected to visit Guwahati, Gangtok and Tawang from April 15 to 19.
