After the Oppositions backlash on the newly launched Agnipath recruitment scheme for the Armed Forces, Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday hit out questioning how would India become great if it does not reform, perform or transform.

Amid growing unrest over the newly-announced Agnipath scheme, the Centre announced several incentives including 10 per cent reservation in vacancies in the defence ministry and paramilitary forces for Agnipath retirees. The announcement of the officer came after the violent protests broke out in some parts of the country wherein incidents like stone-pelting and setting trains on fire were reported.

Agnipath Scheme Protest: Amid opposition to the Agnipath scheme and Congress's Satyagraha, the BJP has hit out at the opposition and said "how would India become great if it does not reform, perform or transform".

Senior MEA official also said that there was widespread support at the G7 deliberations for text-based negotiations on a proposal by India and South Africa for patent waiver on Covid vaccines.
