A woman from Belfast who has been living with pelvic pain for most of her life has stressed the importance of raising awareness around two menstrual conditions.
Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, has visited a girls' school in London, where she joined a workshop to raise awareness of menstrual issues and said that tampons and sanitary pads should be kept "out of the closet"
Sophie, 59, a patron of Wellbeing of Women, was speaking during a visit to Harris Girls Academy in East Dulwich, London, today to raise awareness of menstrual health issues.
