First, you change your messaging, says Kristy Kennedy at the North Country Chamber of Commerce, which includes 11 regional chambers.
“We had to, in a way, tell people not to travel. And that’s not really in our repertoire! So it was finding messaging and balancing that ‘we’re here when you’re ready, but right now do what’s best- for you and your family.’”
