Officials: 45-acre brush fire sparks northwest of Phoenix

PHOENIX â Arizona State Forestry said fire crews were able to stop the forward progression of a brush fire that sparked Tuesday afternoon in northwest Phoenix, near Glendale.
The second-alarm brush fire, later named the Ultra Fire, was primarily burning near 43rd Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road, near The 500 Golf Club and Adobe Mountain Speedway racetrack.
It was estimated to be between 30-45 acres, according to various officials.
