PARKERSBURG Donations to local nonprofits go a little further today as part of the annual Give Local MOV event.
Contributions made today through www.GiveLocalMOV.org allow participating organizations to earn significant matching funds and cash prizes.
The Parkersburg Area Community Foundation provides the secure online giving platform and underwrites campaign costs. Community supporters, led by Superior Toyota and the Mary M. Welch Advised Fund of the PACF, supply matching funds, with hourly cash prizes sponsored by various local businesses.

Good news for Glover Avenue’s 4,000+ residents and Merritt 7 Metro North Station users: The Norwalk River Valley Trail (NRVT) will link to Glover via a new 1000-foot spur trail under construction this spring, eliminating hikers’ need to cross a busy four lane road, according to a press release.
