The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has inducted 201 new Aviation security cadets after undergoing eight weeks STP 123 Course training programme.

This came as the organisation’s Aviation Security (AVSEC) unit graduated the cadets, to enhance safety and security of air travellers at the nation’s airports.

With Nigeria boasting 32 airports, 26 of which are operated by FAAN, and only five functioning as international airports, concerns persist over the limitations posed by the absence of ILS and other essential infrastructure, restricting airport operations to daylight hours.
