All of China's activities in outer space are intended for the country's social, economic and technological development rather than for a "space race" with other nations, according to insiders in China's space industry.

A cargo flight using Chinas self-developed aviation biofuel has arrived in Belgium after a 12-hour journey from Hangzhou, East Chinas Zhejiang Province, marking the first time that the country uses such fuel for an international cargo route since it was mass produced this year, according to Sinopec Group.
