The Affordable Housing Streamlining Ordinance passed 5-1, but not without concern expressed over whether new projects will push vulnerable tenants out of their units without the right to return.
The ordinance would define 100% affordable housing projects, establish criteria to qualify for streamlining benefits, help identify other incentive programs projects may qualify for, outline limitations on waivers and incentives and set performance standards.
