Tom Reed breaks with GOP leaders, backs commission to investigate Jan. 6 Capitol riots
Tom Reed and three other New York Republicans support a bipartisan commission to investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol
The Evening Tribune
Rep. Tom Reed (R-Corning) was among 35 Republicans to break ranks with the party Wednesday night and support legislation that would create a bipartisan commission to investigate the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
The measure passed and was sent to the Senate with the full support of Democrats, while 175 House Republicans were opposed. We as Americans should be united to ensure what happened on January 6th never occurs again,” said Reed. “Therefore, I support this inquiry to make sure history is clear violence will never settle our differences in America, and democracy at our ballot box will and must persevere.”

blood clots are EXTREMELY rare in those who receive the J&J shot less than one in a million in the US and the FDA is considering putting it back on the market (with a warning) saying the chance of getting blood clots after taking the vaccine is like finding needles in a haystack.

The Capitol Police have so far refused to publicly release the report prepared in March and marked as “law enforcement sensitive”. The top watchdog for the U.S. Capitol Police will testify for the first time on Thursday about the department s broad failures before and during the Jan 6 insurrection, including missed intelligence predicting a “war” and weapons that were so old that officers didn t feel comfortable using them.
