LAKEMONT — Twenty-four programs aimed at the education and prevention of drug use in Blair County were awarded about $60,000 in grants from Operation Our Town

QUINCY — Arts Quincy plans to expand its outreach efforts to students and senior citizens.

Wintergreen Arts Center recently received a two-year grant totaling $30,000 from the Onion Foundation. Earmarked for general support, the initial $15,000 gift was received in December.

The Iowa Department of Culture Affairs has selected 11 Iowa arts, culture, history and humanities organizations to participate in its first Iowa Culture Leadership Cohort program.

The outpouring of support from the Greater Lafayette community at this years TASTE of Tippecanoe helped The Arts Federation nearly double their intended goal.

Annually on the Saturday before Memorial Day, the Round the Fountain Art Fair welcomes local artists and guests for the art fair.

Wintergreen Arts Center will host a student art show during the month of May.  The opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 6, during Presque Isle’s First Friday Art Walk.
