LAUSD elementary and middle school students are building confidence by performing Shakespeare's comedy "A Midsummer Nights Dream" at West Vernon Avenue Elementary School in South L.A.

The Spring Book Sale will begin at the Nobles County Library in Worthington at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 12 and continue through Saturday, April 15.

Patricia Hund grew up in Kingsbridge and attended Catholic school as a student. She kept the tradition alive by spending 43 years teaching at St. Margaret of Cortona School. That will end this summer when she retires.

During the month of April, S.O.S. Ministries is trying to raise awareness and $88,000 to support their growing Children's Ministry programs.
