SAVANNAH There have been countless great players in the history of high school football in Northeast Georgia. However, there have only been a handful of performances like the one Malaki Starks put on Friday night to send Jefferson to the Class 4A state championship game.

The end result: a 42-35 Jefferson semifinal win over the Cadets at Memorial Stadium in Savannah.
