Wake Forest, N.C. Despite having some struggles this season, Wake Forest was once again able to take down its crosstown rival Heritage. Wake Forest has now won all 11 varsity football contests against the school that opened minutes down the road last decade.
Some fans speculated that this season could produce the first win for Heritage in the series after Wake Forest was defeated by Rolesville 36-3 a couple of weeks ago. Heritage lost to Rolesville 29-21 last week. But, after today’s 48-35 win, it appears Reggie Lucas and company still have Heritage’s number.
