After finishing second last week in the fastest mile at Plainridge Park so far this year, Ever Hoping A was a runaway winner in the $27,397 featured condition pace at The Ridge on Monday afternoon, April 22.  

Trainer Jackie Greene dominated the action on Saturday night at Saratoga Casino Hotel. The two-time leading trainer recorded three wins on the card including a victory in the evening’s featured race with Im No Outlaw N.

Woodbine Mohawk Park featured three $22,200 Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots divisions as the fourth leg of the series for sophomore colt and gelding pacers on Thursday (Aug. 31) evening and Winmebak headlined the series action on the card.

The Sunshine Beach colt Ahi Sunshine blew away his rivals in the opening race of the Tuesday (June 6) card at Woodbine Mohawk Park in the opening division of the opening leg for the Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Series for pacing sophomore males.

The Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots Semi-Finals for two-year-olds were held Thursday (September 22) evening at Woodbine Mohawk Park, each with a purse of $20,000.

Stockade Seelster’s undefeated two-year-old campaign continued in style on Saturday night (Sept. 3) at Woodbine Mohawk Park with the State Treasurer colt pacing the fastest mile by a freshman in Ontario Sires Stakes history. 

Woodbine Mohawk Park played host to five Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots events for two-year-old pacing colts and geldings on Thursday night (Aug. 18) and the team of trainer Gregg McNair and driver Doug McNair exited the card with the winner’s cheque from two of the five splits.

Driver Austin Sorrie uncorked the Big Jim gelding Big Dream Fella moving for the final turn and the Wayne McGean trainee delivered a head decision to score the fastest win of six Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) Grassroots divisions for two-year-old pacing colts and geldings on Sunday night (July 17) at Georgian Downs.
