ZAMBOANGA CITY - The Social Security System (SSS) is offering the Pandemic Relief and Restructuring Program (PRRP) to local employers who are struggling to recover from economic losses due to the health pandemic. Ma. Salvacion Alam, SSS Mindanao West Division acting vice president, said Monday there are two restructuring programs - the Condonation of Penalties on Social Security (SS) contributions or the PRRP-2, and the Enhanced Installment Payment Program or PRRP-3 to help struggling employers. PRRP-2 aims to assist delinquent employers by condoning penalties imposed on unpaid SS contributions, thus, helping them resume their regular monthly remittance. Qualified to avail of the PRRP-2 are those delinquent in the payment of SS contributions and penalties covering the applicable month of March 2020 and onwards, Alam said. Meanwhile, Alam said employers who have incurred delinquencies before the pandemic and are incapable of paying their obligation in full may avail of the PRRP-3. "
