May at the Arts & Science Center is a busy month with live music, artist receptions and exhibitions, including Live@5 featuring The Josh Park Band, "Small Works on Paper" exhibit and the Second Saturday Family FunDay: STEAM Corner.

On a recent Saturday morning, students paid careful attention as Alice "Aida" Ayers wrapped a length of copper foil around the outer edges of a piece of cut glass.

Two exhibitions of ceramic works are on display through May 30 at Fayettevilles Walton Arts Center.

The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas has opened registration for its summer camps, featuring seven diverse classes for ages 7-17. Camp offerings include art, cooking, poetry, robotics and theater, according to a news release.

The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas April events will include A Cabaret Event, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Jazz Ensemble and volunteer night among other programs.

The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas March events include a Womens Self-Defense class, African Art project and the performance of Steel Magnolias.

The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas November events include an exhibition by John Kushmaul, Live@5 featuring THISNESS, an opening reception for "Midst: Artwork by Nick Hobbs," and a slam poetry session.

The Arts and Science Center for Southeast Arkansas reconvened its Live@5 concert on the back patio of the ART Space on Main, 623 S. Main St.
