WENATCHEE – The Jackrabbits held off a late Omak comeback bid in Saturday’s Caribou Trial League district championship game, defeating the Pioneers 72-71 in exciting fashion.
“Wild ending, wild game – everything you’d want in a high school basketball game,” Quincy Head Coach Scott Bierlink said. “It certainly wasn’t a clean game on our part, but our motto’s been ‘Survive and advance,’ so that’s what we did.”
QUINCY – The accomplishments just kept coming for the Quincy Jackrabbits during Thursday’s senior night 70-49 win over Cashmere.
While the win improved the Jacks to 9-2 in the Caribou Trail League, Quincy clinched its third-straight CTL title with the win over the Bulldogs. In the third quarter, senior Julian Ibarra became the second Jackrabbit to cross the 1,000 career point threshold this season.
ROYAL CITY After being fouled while attempting a three-pointer with just seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter, Royal senior Caden Allred stepped up to the free throw line with the Knights tied at 47 to Quincy.
QUINCY – Friday night’s Caribou Trail League matchup between Omak and Quincy was a significant game for the Jackrabbits to be able to put some separation between themselves and the remainder of the league, defeating the Pioneers 60-49 and improve to 6-1 in the CTL.
QUINCY – After dropping their first two games, the Quincy Jackrabbits got into the win column this season with a 68-44 win over Chelan on Tuesday. The game was Quincy’s first Caribou Trail League contest this winter.
