The Salida High School boys’ basketball team won the Colorado High School Activities Association 3A Tri-Peaks district playoffs Saturday and will head to the state tournament after beating The Vanguard
Salida High School’s boys’ basketball team is continuing their climb to the top, having defeated the Florence Huskies 72-37 Tuesday, and will play in the district semifinals at 5:30 p.m.
Spartan hoopsters defeated the Florence Huskies 72-37 during Salida High School’s first playoff game, during which they nailed their opponent with offensive rebounds.
The previously undefeated Vanguard Coursers were unprepared for the Salida High School boys’ basketball team to send them packing Monday and fell to the Spartans 84-69.
