Abirami Sritharan from Slough has been announced as the winner of Time to Talk s poetry competition with her poem It s all just a facade . The poem speaks volumes about the importance of mental health and talking to someone if you re in need of help. She said: I have always loved talking to people and being sociable has been a great skill as it has allowed several people to come and open up to me about their Mental Health.

Helping young people with their mental health could win award for dedicated team A dedicated team promoting children and young peoples mental health across Slough and Bracknell has been shortlisted for a top award. East Berkshire Young Health Champions have been shortlisted for a Children and Young People Now Award - a gold standard for any group working with young people and families. The Chmpions formed when Bracknell Forest Council and the Slough based youth charity Aik Saath teamed up in partnership with NHS East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group - and their nomination is for the best partnership working award.
