CULLEN enjoyed its own slice of movie action when a hit TV show came to the north-east.
BBC s gangster drama Peaky Blinders descended on Portsoy for a five-day spell of filming, wrapping up on Friday, February 12, with the action being based mainly around the village s historic 17th century harbour.
It is believed the filming was for the series sixth season.
While not involved with the filming, the Seafield Arms Hotel in Cullen nevertheless had a vital role to play by looking after members of the cast and crew during their time in the north-east.
