we did speak with a tsa administrator here today. he says the length of this shutdown and not getting paid is taking its toll. the airport workers took an oath to support the constitution of the united states, to do the job the best of their ability. the officers that are here are doing that. they re keeping air travel safe by coming to work and doing their job. reporter: passengers we spoke with, some stated, some tsa workers they saw at jfk seemed irritable, but they said all of the workers here are doing their job professionally and smiling and making the process, the airport experience, as smooth as possible. here s a traveller we spoke with who said she came out extra early just in case, but really didn t need to. i would say security seems to be rolling smoothly. when i went through jfk there was a little irritability amongst the workers.
