Ajman Police deny closure of labour recruitment offices due to COVID-19

Ajman: The Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Team in Ajman has conducted COVID-19 tests on 350 female domestic workers at labour recruitment offices recently. The initiative came as part of the efforts to combat the spread of coronavirus and was conducted in coordination with the Ajman Police General Command, the Medical District and partners. An inspection campaign was organised to check on public health and conduct examinations to detect those infected with coronavirus. The campaign involved 350 domestic workers at various manpower recruitment offices in the emirate. Brigadier Abdullah Saif Khalfan Al Matroushi, Director General of Police Operations at Ajman Police, stated that all service workers present at the manpower recruitment offices were examined to ensure their safety and their compliance with the precautionary measures. Two Arabs find wallets full of money, hand over to Ajman Police 05 Mar 2021 Gulf Today, Staff Reporter The Ajman Police General Command, represented by Lieutenant Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, Chief of the City Comprehensive Police Station, honoured two Arabs, Mohammed Bashir Hassan, a Sudanese, and Abdul Nasser Najeh Al Shishtawy, an Egyptian, for their honesty and their sense of social responsibility by returning two wallets containing money and bank cards they found in public places in the Emirate of Ajman. The two Arabs immediately rushed to the city comprehensive police station and handed the wallets to the police. Al Kaabi handed the Arabs two certificates of appreciation for their honesty and returning the things they found.
