Akasa Air Founder and CEO Vinay Dube said its foray into Qatar marks the next phase of growth as it continues the journey towards becoming one of the world s top 30 airlines by the turn of this decade.
In an exclusive interview with CNBC TV18, Akasa Air CEO Vinay Dube hinted at a phased approach to international expansion, with the initial destinations including Doha, Kuwait, Riyadh, and Jeddah and on to destinations such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and the Maldives, among others. 'The Jhunjhunwala family is absolutely not looking to divest,' he added on another note.
