The Norwegian authorities are offering Aker BP ownership interest in 27 exploration licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf in the APA 2023 licensing round. For 17 of the licenses, Aker BP is also granted operatorship.

Norway on Tuesday awarded stakes in 62 offshore oil and gas exploration licences to 24 energy companies, including state-controlled Equinor , boosting the amount of acreage offered as the country seeks to pump for decades to come.

As part of a ten-day inspection campaign, Aker BP and DeepOcean inspected subsea trees and other subsea infrastructure at the Alvheim subsea field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
