The intervention of officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has prevented a fire disaster from a gas-laden truck in Surulere area of the state. According to a press release issued by Adebayo Taofiq, Director, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of LASTMA, an attempt by a gas truck to force itself under the newly erected barrier resulted in the spilling of its contents (gas) on the main garage by Akaka inward Stadium bridge on Saturday.
