Dr. Susan Grace Barfoot, a long-time resident of Montgomery County, was born August 24, 1946 and stepped into heavenly eternity December 21, 2020.
She was welcomed home by those that went before her: mother, Elma Youngblood Barfoot; father, Woodrow Barfoot; older sister, Rebecca Barfoot Shifflett; her nephew, Matthew Blue; sister-in-law, Julia Williamson Barfoot and brother-in-law, Russell Shifflett.
She leaves behind a large legacy of loved ones including her siblings: Paul Barfoot (Aline), Joel Barfoot (Sherry), John Barfoot (Gaye) along with her sister Kathy Barfoot Blue (Bubba) and countless nieces and nephews who adored every moment with her. Bonnie Eakins (Bob)- Hope, Caleb, Joshua, Serenity, Joey, Joy, Faith, Noah, Matthew and Liberty. Dottie Figueras (Victor) â Stacy Jones. Will Barfoot (Kathy)- Reagan, Bankston, Ellie, Jeb, and Erica Deloney (Richard)- Bowen and Anne Carter. Charlotte Barfoot Strakos (Dany)- Robby and Ranger. Chenoa Barfoot Vick (Jeff)- Abbie, Sarah,
