He documented his odyssey with sudden deafness in the book “Life After Deaf: My Misadventures in Hearing Loss and Recovery.” Holston, who lives in Athens, Ga., will talk about his experience at a captioned Zoom event on Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 6:30 p.m. The talk is sponsored by the Albany chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), along with the Albany Public Library.
