Albies Bar News Today

In 2023, The Screaming Jets had both a great year and their saddest year of all. The passing of founder, chief songwriter and bass player Paul Woseen was a great loss for the Australian music industry. That was contrasted with ‘Professional Misconduct’, the first album of new and original material in eight years, debuted at no. 3.

Thats what we call being a super fan.

"We’re just older. Otherwise, we’re exactly the same. And that’s why I’m proud of this band; we stayed true to who we are."

"Paully wrote nine of the songs on the new album, and we didn’t just want to mothball that; we wanted to get it out there."

The Screaming Jets have a new album called ‘Professional Misconduct’ coming and have chosen the path of “the big ballad” to lead the way with ‘Second Chance’.

The Screaming Jets have also released the second single from their new album, Second Chance.

The Superjesus will release more new music on June 16 with ‘Lights Out’ on the way and a tour set to go.

Even if you didnt know the backstory, youre likely to be moved by the sheer musical power of Lights Out.
