Disputes on the Horizon Over Decommissioning Activities
As more fields enter into their twilight years, that day is very much upon us. According to OEUK, £1.27bn was spent on decommissioning activities in the UK North Sea in 2021. This was expected to increase to almost £2bn in 2022 and to approximately £2.25bn by 2030.
