Union you ever had. The answer to the question is they asked for tons of enriched uranium. Of course the white house agreed because diplomacy carried the day. But groves got in the middle of it. Groves went berserk, as you can expect, went to george marshall. Groves was one person as a onestar general that could walk into George Marshalls office screaming and throwing stuff and not get courtmartialed for it. He went into the office screaming bloody murder. Convinced marshall of the stupid idea. Then convinced stimson this is a really stupid idea. Groves got in the middle, slowed it down and eventually conceded as a compromise to give them one kilogram of enriched uranium. 2. 2 pounds which you cant do a whole lot with. This is like 10 refined uranium, too. You couldnt even make a Nuclear Reactor out of this. You need about 80 , 90 refinement of uranium to make a bomb. So, yes, he was very much they were very much looking to please the soviets because they were allies, but there was no
The National Constitution center as you know is the only institution in the country chartered by congress to disseminate information about the u. S. Constitution on a nonpartisan basis. Has had an enormous level of play drive, just a natural drive to chase and capture things when theyre waved in front of his face, throwing the ball and has to have an enormous amount of hunt drive, if i tease him by ball, throw the ball in the thick brush and let him go he will spend minutes using his nose, not his eyes but his nose to find the ball, he cant see it, he will sit there and you can watch, like nose on legs snaking backandforth and he will do that ended distractions if there is hot and water nearby or other dogs who have marked in the area, if theres traffic or somebody gunfire going of which are all things we may simulate to test dedication of the hunt drive for that dog and i want to make sure under all those circumstances he is still going to hunt which mimics a combat environment. If i take a dog who is distracted by food or a female or gunfire while asking him to search, when i send the dog over to and austere environment where he will be used to save peoples lives an
As we heard from some of the government speakers in terms of whether it is embraced or not we have seen a lot of companies talk about how they are applauding the release of the framework and that includes at t, the chairman spoke of the release at the white house, there is general support for the framework but as to whether that continues, will the framework be used as it was intended so it remained flexible non regulatory riskmanagement tool. If it continues down that path you will see fairly widespread use among the private sector. As for whether or not the framework is going to improve cybersecurity that is a harder question to answer. Clearly the framework is intended to raise the bar for cybersecurity to make it more difficult for attackers.
