The Blue Scrub Club at Montclair High School has donated $500 to Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center’s Pastoral Care department through the Partners for Health Foundation.
Alec Grabowski joins the hospital from Summerville Medical Center in South Carolina, where he was chief operating officer as well as interim president. As the new Mountainside Medical Center COO, he succeeds Tim O’Brien, who was promoted to CEO in August.
“Alec brings a breadth of experience in health care operations to this role,” O’Brien said in a prepared statement. “His expertise will enhance our ability to increase the range and scope of services available at our community hospital, and we are excited to have him on board.”
Grabowski has more than a decade of health care leadership experience, including work at United Health Services in New York and Evolent Health and WellStar Health System in Georgia.
