In a news release Tuesday, the Office of Bangsamoro Member of Parliament (MP) Diamila Disimban-Ramos together with the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao said the water system in Barangay Buadi Amaloy, Masiu, Lanao del was turned over last May 14. It was designed to allocate water supply to the community, especially those who would pray in the Grand Mosque Jamaah where it is located. It is funded under the 2020 Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of Ramos. The Bangsamoro Government has reiterated its commitment to help in rebuilding Marawi City amid the seemingly slow progress in government rehabilitation efforts.
Bangsamoro Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim issued the declaration during the 4th Anniversary of the infamous Marawi siege where thousands of residents were displaced after the city was left in ruins.
“Tens of thousands are still displaced, and layers of challenges are piling on, exacerbated by the ongoing health crisis,” said Ebrahim.
BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim reiterates the region’s commitment to support Marawi.
The BARMM has launched the P500-million Marawi Rehabilitation Program (BARMM-MRP) last year to complement the national government’s Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM).
BARMM, TFBM break ground for 50 units permanent shelters in Marawi

MARAWI CITY, Jan. 22 (PIA) Officials of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM) broke ground for the construction of 50 two-storey permanent shelters for internally displaced persons (IDPs) of the city.
The two-storey duplex housing project will be built in Barangay Kilala in a four-hectare land donated by actor Robin “Abdul Aziz” Padilla.
The Php 125 million housing project is under the BARMM Marawi Rehabilitation Program which incorporates BARMM initiatives for the rehabilitation of the city.
Bangsamoro Deputy Chief Minister Aleem Ali Solaiman emphasized that despite the pandemic the social housing program continues to assist displaced Meranao people.
