KTRE in Lufkin is reporting that a woman has died from the injuries she received when her son allegedly stabbed her and a policeman at a convenience store in Lufkin on Friday night.
According to the report, officers were called to Lucky s, just off of John Redditt Drive, when it was reported that a man had stabbed his mother.
Police said that when they arrived, the son also stabbed one of the four police officers who was attempting to take the knife away from him.
A video provided by Lufkin Police shows the mother and son standing in the checkout line of the store, when he suddenly grabbed her, put his arms around her neck and stabbed her with a knife.
