A Liverpool nan has been left ‘crying’ after her grandson s very kind gesture. Alfie Gough missed his nan, Aileen Gough, from Kensington, so much he asked his mum if he could make a special delivery.
The eight-year-old ‘shocked’ his mum by asking if he could take the 67-year-old some flowers and chocolates. Alfie’s mum, Karen Gough, who lives in Widnes, told the ECHO: At the time she was shocked and absolutely beside herself. She is still crying on the phone to us about it now. They have a lovely bond and she is just really made up.
